We think we have the coolest staircase in Australia, a little bit of a retro 90s relic that remains uber cool today. Straight into our bar where cocktails can be enjoyed.
Red Ochre Grill celebrates 20 years of continuous excellence in 2019 with a rebranded name to Red ochre Barrel and Grill.
The Red Ochre Barrel and Grill shares one of Adelaide’s most superb city restaurant locations with our sibling restaurant the River Cafè (located immediately below on the ground floor below). A floating pavilion, literally sitting on the water, both restaurants have beautiful River Torrens views looking back towards the city of Adelaide and the main arts precinct and in the dark hours, spectacular city light views.

The wine list at the Red Ochre Grill has a strong focus on the very best of South Australian and Australian wines with a smattering of old world wines and of course Australian sparklings and French Champagne. Our cocktail list, as well as the classics, explores exciting twists on modern cocktails using Australian native botanicals. A drink at our bar prior to going into the dining room is a great way to start or finish your evening

Of course, we have all of the classics, but our ‘native cocktails’ have given our mixologists the opportunity to introduce a unique raft of cocktails with a very Australian influence. Add to this in the past five years Australia, in particular South Australia, has rediscovered spirit manufacture with great success and our ‘native cocktails’ list is a great opportunity to explore this innovation
